Hot off the heals of Brisbane Truck Show we thought it timely to share a little more about the hidden gem that is Rhino Stainless guards. If we heard it once, we heard it a hundred of times over the course of the show how people noticed the difference in Rhino Stainless guards.
Our team take great care to manufacture high quality products, so in this article we lift the lid on Rhino stainless steel mudguards. The features result in high performing products that make your truck and trailer look incredible. Key benefits of Rhino stainless are:
- Top quality stainless
- Ripple-free edge
- Double fold ends
Top quality stainless steel
Stainless steel 304 Bright Annealed (BA) is used to manufacture Rhino stainless guards giving durability and finish. Rhino uses 1.2mm thick stainless steel, which is more robust that thinner products offered and not as heavy as thicker options, striking the optimal balance between strength and weight.
It has a smooth, bright, reflective finish typically produced by cold rolling followed by annealing in a protective atmosphere so as to prevent oxidation and scaling during annealing. A Bright Annealed (BA) finish provides a smooth, non-abrasive surface which can be easily cleaned. The mirror like surface is also visually attractive, similar to Chromium plated vehicle accessories / parts. It is highly corrosion resistant because it is very smooth. Just remove the protective film and let the shine do the talking.
Ripple-free edge
We use a proprietary manufacturing process to produce a smooth edge on our stainless steel smooth and stainless steel ribbed guards. The result is a high quality ripple-free edge, unlike most other products.
Double fold ends
To give strength and to ensure a straight edge finish, we include a double-fold on the inside end of each guard (shown below).
