We are removing the Stainless Steel Ribbed Self Steer from the RHINO range to better match demand and improve efficiency.
All other product lines in Stainless Steel are still available.
Why the change.
A combination of low demand from customers and efficiency for our business. It makes more sense to prioritise our manufacturing capacity on high-demand product lines.
The Stainless Steel Ribbed Self Steer guards are one of our lowest selling guard lines. Customers prefer the sleek finish of the Stainless Steel Smooth (STS) alternative. We have also seen a huge increase in demand for all other Stainless Steel guards over the past year.
The Stainless Steel Ribbed Self Steer guards are also one of our most time consuming and inefficient product lines to manufacture. This results in unnecessary delays for customers.
In contrast the Stainless Steel Smooth (STS) self-steer range are quicker to manufacture meaning that we can turn them around quicker with a production schedule of 1-2 weeks.
What products are discontinued.
There are five discontinued product lines in the Stainless Steel Ribbed Self Steer range:
STR10058-200F, STR11063-200F, STR11048-200F, STR12048-200F, STR12063-200F.
Please note that we continue to offer all other Stainless Steel products in Ribbed, Rod Edge and Smooth.

Have an existing Stainless Steel Ribbed Self Steer?
For anyone out there currently sporting our STR self-steers in need of one replacement, we understand that buying two new guards is a little inconvenient. This is why we will be offering two Stainless Steel Smooth (STS) self-steer guards for the price of one when replacing an existing STR Self Steer guard. Terms and conditions apply – for a start, just send us a picture of your existing guards as proof. Unless you prefer to mix and match of course.
