Sizing

What mudguards suit my tyre size?

See our Tyre Size Guide here: https://mudguards.co.nz/rhino-tyre-size-guide/

Ordering

Account Application

If you’d like to apply for an account with Rhino, please complete our account application form here and one of our team will be in touch.  Our credit terms are simple – payment upfront on your first order and then stritcly 20th of the month following invoice.  Exceptions to this are for custom products, light trailer orders and export.

Ordering timelines - how long until I get my order?

Orders received prior to 2pm will be generally be shipped the same working day – to ensure your order leaves the same day please order as early as possible.  There are a few exceptions to this timing – non-stock items, custom items, large stock orders and most car trailer products.  With this whole Covid-19 gig, we do experience weeks where this doesn’t go to plan due to spikes in demand or supply chain – we communicate this at the time of order.

Freight

How does freight work?

Freight is sent using the most cost-effective and practical means.  Our streamlined systems and relationships with freight companies ensure that your orders will be delivered as quickly as possible.  In New Zealand, we use Post Haste for small/loose items and Mainfreight for items on a pallet.  In Australia, we use Aus Post / NZ Post for small/loose items and Mainfreight for items on a pallet.  Post Haste tracking is here and Mainfreight tracking is here.  Check out our dedicated FAQ on Freight – track and trace orders.

Individual pack sizes limited to 20kg

Every order we send is assessed for the most cost-effective mode of delivery – either on a pallet or via a courier.

The Health and Safety of our team, freight companies and customers is our top priority.  Lifting overweight, bulky and odd-shaped freight is a risk that we have mitigated through limiting the size of any one package to 20kg.  This changed in July 2021 following a review of our manual handling processes.

Most guards will still be dispatched as normal.  Some guards will now be dispatched as singles or two (rather than packs of 2, 3, or 4) or on a pallet (whichever is more cost-effective).  This will impact a limited range of large or heavy products such as Spreader Guards, Tandem Truck Mudguards (plastic and stainless), Aluminium Truck Mud Guards and Stainless Steel Truck Mudguards.

Track and trace orders

You can track and trace the location of your order.  How?  View our freight tracking instructions here: https://mudguards.co.nz/freight-shipping-tracking/

Recycled mudguards - how do I order these?

Rhino recycled mudguards are made from recycled mudguards.  These are a circular product that reduce the waste to landfill and lowering carbon emissions.  You can see all the details in the launch story here.  The colour code for these is “REC”, for example if you are ordering a PL12063, use PL12063-REC.

Sizing - What guard should I choose for my tyre size / wheel?

Good question!  Check out our blog post here!

Stainless steel guards - what is the Rhino difference?

Our proprietary technology gives Rhino guards a distinct advantage over other stainless steel guards.

  • Material thickness.  We use 1.2mm material which gives the perfect mix of performance and weight.
  • Bright finish.  The 304 stainless steel bright annealed (BA) finish is cold rolled stainless steel that is annealed in a controlled atmosphere to retain a highly reflective finish.
  • Perfect edges.  The radius edges are perfectly smooth with no ripples.
  • Strength and smooth finish.  Each end of the guard are folded over giving extra strength and a smooth finish without dents.
