Sizing

What mudguards suit my tyre size?

See our guide on Selecting a Guard to find out how to choose the right mudguard. We also have a Tyre Size Guide for Plastic Mudguards, that you can refer to. If you’re still unsure, please contact us! Our team is always happy to help.

Ordering

How do I apply for an account?

If you’d like to apply for an account with Rhino, please complete our account application form and one of our team will be in touch. Our credit terms are simple – payment upfront on your first order, and then strictly 20th of the month following invoice. Exceptions to this are for custom products, light trailer orders, and export.

Ordering timelines - how long until I get my order?

Orders received prior to 2pm will be generally be shipped the same working day – to ensure your order leaves the same day please order as early as possible. There are a few exceptions to this timing – non-stock items, custom items, large stock orders and most car trailer products.

Freight

How does freight work?

Freight is sent using the most cost-effective and practical means. Our streamlined systems and relationships with freight companies ensure that your orders will be delivered as quickly as possible. In New Zealand, we use Post Haste for small/loose items and Mainfreight for items on a pallet. In Australia, we use Australia Post and NZ Post for small/loose items, and Mainfreight for items on a pallet. You can track your order online with Post Haste tracking or Mainfreight tracking. For more details, see our dedicated FAQ on Freight – Can I track and trace my order?

Do you have limits on individual pack sizes?

Every order we send is assessed for the most cost-effective mode of delivery – either on a pallet or via a courier.

The Health and Safety of our team, freight companies and customers is our top priority. Lifting overweight, bulky and odd-shaped freight is a risk that we have mitigated through limiting the size of any one package to 20kg.  This changed in July 2021 following a review of our manual handling processes.

Most guards will still be dispatched as normal. Some guards are dispatched as singles or in pairs (rather than packs of 3 or 4) or on a pallet. It all depends on which method is more cost-effective. This will impact a limited range of large or heavy products, which may include Spreader Guards, Tandem Truck Mudguards (plastic and stainless), Aluminium Truck Mudguards, or Stainless Steel Truck Mudguards.

Can I track and trace my order?

Yes, you can track and trace the location of your order. How? View our freight tracking instructions at mudguards.co.nz/freight-shipping-tracking

Recycled mudguards - how do I order these?

Rhino recycled mudguards are made from old mudguards that have been recycled to create new ones. These are a circular product that reduce the waste to landfill and lowering carbon emissions. You can see more the details in our initial launch story. The colour code for these is “REC”, for example if you are ordering a PL12063, use PL12063-REC.

Sizing - What guard should I choose for my tyre size / wheel?

Good question! Check out our guide for selecting a guard!

Stainless steel guards - what is the Rhino difference?

Our proprietary technology gives Rhino guards a distinct advantage over other stainless steel guards.

  • Material thickness. We use 1.2mm material which gives the perfect mix of performance and weight.
  • Bright finish. The 304 stainless steel bright annealed (BA) finish is cold rolled stainless steel that is annealed in a controlled atmosphere to retain a highly reflective finish.
  • Perfect edges. The radius edges are perfectly smooth with no ripples.
  • Strength and smooth finish. Each end of the guard are folded over giving extra strength and a smooth finish without dents.

Sustainability

How do I recycle my Rhino plastic mudguards?
